36 Years of Cobia Fishing

First Cobia ever caught by Steve Kaiser. It weighed 32# and was caught off Destin, Florida on 4 April 1968. This sport grew to be an obsession within the Kaiser Family over the next thirty four years and is still going strong.

Cobia is the proper name, however, they are often called Ling in the Panhandle of Florida....and referred to as Lemonfish in Louisiana. Chocolate brown in color and sometimes mistaken for a Shark.
